Perth & Surrounds
Perth is a lively city located on the western coast of Australia. It’s famous for its beautiful beaches, sunny weather, and lots of fun things to do! Perth has amazing places like Kings Park, where you can see lots of plants and flowers, and the Perth Zoo, where you can meet Australian animals like kangaroos and koalas. The city is also home to cool places like the Swan River, where people go sailing and have picnics by the water. Just outside of Perth, there are lots of fun things to do too, like visiting the Swan Valley for wine tasting or going to the nearby islands like Rottnest Island, where you can see cute quokkas.
The weather in Perth is warm and sunny for most of the year. In summer (December to February), it can get really hot, with temperatures often around 30°C to 40°C (86°F to 104°F). Summer is a great time to visit if you love the beach, as you can swim, surf, and enjoy the sunshine. But it’s also important to stay cool and drink plenty of water when it’s very hot.
In winter (June to August), the weather is much cooler, with temperatures ranging from 10°C to 20°C (50°F to 68°F). It’s a nice time to visit if you like cooler weather, and you can still enjoy outdoor activities without the summer heat. Sometimes it rains a bit more in winter, but there are still lots of sunny days.
The best time to visit Perth is during spring (September to November) or autumn (March to May), when the weather is warm but not too hot. These seasons are perfect for exploring the city and enjoying the outdoors comfortably!
