Phillip Island

Phillip Island is a beautiful island in Victoria, Australia, famous for its wildlife and lovely beaches. It's just a short drive from Melbourne and is a popular place for families to visit. One of the best things to see on Phillip Island is the Penguin Parade, where little penguins come out of the sea at sunset and waddle up the beach to their homes. People also love visiting Koala Conservation Centre to see koalas up close, and you can even spot kangaroos and other animals on the island!

The weather on Phillip Island can change a lot, so it’s a good idea to be ready for anything! In summer (December to February), the weather is warm, with temperatures around 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F). It’s a great time to visit if you want to swim at the beach, go for walks, or enjoy the outdoor activities. Sometimes it can get a little hot, but the ocean breezes help keep things cool.

In winter (June to August), the weather is cooler, with temperatures between 8°C and 14°C (46°F to 57°F). It can also be rainy and windy, but winter is still a nice time to visit if you like quieter, peaceful times. You can enjoy the Penguin Parade in winter too, as the penguins still come out in the cold weather!

Spring (September to November) and autumn (March to May) are also great times to visit. The weather is mild, with temperatures around 15°C to 20°C (59°F to 68°F), making it perfect for outdoor activities like walking or sightseeing. The best time to visit Phillip Island is in spring or autumn when the weather is just right for exploring the island and seeing all the animals!
