The weather in Adelaide is warm and sunny for most of the year. In summer, from December to February, it can get really hot, with temperatures often reaching 30°C (86°F) or higher. Sometimes, it even gets hotter, especially when there are hot winds from the desert. Summer is also when Adelaide can have thunderstorms. These bring rain and cooler weather for a short time, but the storms don’t last long, and the weather quickly heats up again.
