Morialta Conservation Park

Highlights

Morialta Conservation Park is a great place for those who love to explore and be surrounded by nature. Just 10 km from Adelaide, this park has rugged gorges, waterfalls, and woodlands. The waterfalls along Fourth Creek are especially spectacular, especially after it rains. For the best experience, visit in spring or winter when the water flows strongly.

If you love rock climbing, Morialta has a special climbing zone with fantastic views of Morialta Gorge. You’ll also find small reptiles like skinks and lizards hanging out in the sun. If you're lucky, you might spot a rare bird like the white-browed treecreeper. Did you know that the park gets its name from the word “Morialta,” which means "long valley" in an Aboriginal language? It’s a great place to learn about nature while exploring!
