Rottnest Island

Rottnest Island is a beautiful island just off the coast of Perth, Western Australia. It’s a very special place where you can see cute animals like quokkas, which are small, friendly creatures that love to pose for photos. The island has amazing beaches with clear blue water, perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and enjoying the sun. You can also ride bikes around the island or explore its many walking trails. There are interesting places to visit, like the historical lighthouse and old buildings that tell stories of the island’s past.

The weather on Rottnest Island is warm and sunny most of the time. In summer (December to February), the weather is hot, with temperatures usually between 25°C and 35°C (77°F to 95°F). Summer is a great time to visit if you like warm weather, as it’s perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and enjoying the beach. However, it can get quite hot, so it’s important to stay in the shade, drink plenty of water, and wear sunscreen.

In winter (June to August), the weather is cooler, with temperatures ranging from 10°C to 20°C (50°F to 68°F). It doesn’t usually get very cold, but you might need a light jacket, especially in the evenings. Winter is a quieter time on the island, which means fewer people and a more peaceful experience, but it can also be a little rainy at times.

The best time to visit Rottnest Island is during the spring (September to November) or autumn (March to May) when the weather is mild, not too hot or cold, and perfect for exploring the island’s natural beauty and wildlife.
