Bathurst Lighthouse, built in 1900, stands tall on the northern edge of Rottnest Island and offers breathtaking views. It was constructed after a tragic shipwreck in 1899 to help guide sailors safely past the island’s reefs. From its vantage point, you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding ocean and island.
Although the lighthouse is closed to visitors, it’s a perfect spot for photography and learning about maritime history. A visit here is a mix of beauty and history, making it a memorable stop on your island adventure.
