Kangaroo Island

The weather on Kangaroo Island is mild, with warm summers and cooler winters. In summer, from December to February, the weather is usually warm and sunny. The temperatures can reach about 30°C (86°F) or higher, which is perfect for enjoying the beach or going on nature walks. However, it can sometimes be windy, especially near the coast. The winds help cool things down, making it more comfortable to be outside. Summer is also the time when there might be some thunderstorms, bringing a little rain and cooler weather for a short time, but they don’t last long.

In winter, from June to August, the weather on Kangaroo Island is cooler and more comfortable. During the day, the temperature is usually around 15°C (59°F), which is still nice for outdoor activities like exploring the national parks.
