The Munda Biddi Trail

Highlights

The Munda Biddi Trail is an epic adventure for anyone who loves cycling and exploring the outdoors! The name means "path through the forest" in the Noongar Aboriginal language, and that’s exactly what this 1,000-kilometre trail offers. Starting in Mundaring and stretching all the way to Albany, the trail takes you through ancient forests, lush bushland, and stunning scenery unique to Western Australia.

Every section of the trail is different – you’ll cycle through towering eucalyptus trees, cross bubbling streams, and might even spot some native wildlife like kangaroos or colourful birds. Along the way, you can camp in special shelters or stop in charming country towns to rest and explore. It’s a perfect mix of fun, adventure, and a chance to learn about the local Aboriginal culture and history.

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced rider, there’s something for everyone on the Munda Biddi Trail. Just remember to bring plenty of water and be ready for some amazing sights!

  • Wear suitable footwear and ensure to wear appropriate clothing to protect yourself from the elements when outside exploring.
