Highlights

Golden View Lookout offers panoramic views of the Helena River Valley, Mundaring Weir, and Lake CY O’Connor. Located near South Ledge, it’s a peaceful spot for picnics, bushwalking, and wildlife watching. A 400-metre return trail leads through Jarrah and Marri trees to a scenic viewing platform with interpretive signs sharing the area’s history.

Springtime brings colourful wildflowers to the granite outcrops, adding even more beauty to the landscape. It’s a perfect place to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings while learning about the history of Mundaring Weir.
