Yamba Lighthouse

Highlights

Yamba Lighthouse has been lighting the way for over 100 years and is the perfect spot for an adventure! Kids will love running around the grassy area and enjoying a picnic after a day at the beach. It's also a fantastic place to watch whales during the season or see the moon rise in the evening sky.

Did you know the first lighthouse here was just a platform with a kerosene lamp back in the 1860s? Over the years, it was upgraded, and the current lighthouse was built in 1880. Imagine the sailors who relied on its light to guide their ships safely to shore! Bring your binoculars for whale watching or just enjoy the amazing view.

This is a great place to visit with your family or friends, so pack your snacks, bring a blanket, and have fun at this historical spot!
