Wedding Cake Rock
Highlights
Get ready for an exciting hike to Wedding Cake Rock! This unique white rock looks just like a giant slice of cake perched on the cliffs of Royal National Park. It’s pure white because of a cool scientific process called iron leaching, which makes the rock soft and crumbly—like a real cake!
On your adventure, you’ll walk through bushland full of spring wildflowers and even spot swamp wallabies or birds like kookaburras. The ocean views along the track are amazing, and it’s a great place for whale watching. Just remember, the rock is fragile, so you can’t stand on it, but you can take amazing photos from a safe distance. Don’t forget to pack plenty of water and snacks for your journey!
Adult Supervision RecommendedThe trail is steep and rocky in parts, so it’s important to have an adult with you to ensure safety.
