Wanna Munna

Highlights

Wanna Munna is an amazing Aboriginal cultural site in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, and it's a must-see for history buffs and adventurers alike! Here, you can discover ancient rock art carved into the rocks, showing animals and humans from thousands of years ago. As you walk through the gorge along Weeli Wolli Creek, you’ll find massive, colourful rock formations and peaceful waterholes where kangaroos and other animals come to drink.

The site is protected, so be sure to respect the ancient art and the surrounding nature. It's also a great place for a picnic in the shade and a peaceful day of exploration. You'll need a 4WD vehicle to get there, so be sure to check road conditions before you go. Once you're there, get ready to be amazed by the history and beauty of the landscape!
