Walpa Gorge walk

Highlights

Walpa Gorge is a hidden oasis in the heart of the desert, offering a cool refuge for plants and animals. The walk takes you through a narrow gorge with towering rock walls and stunning natural beauty. The name "Walpa" means "windy" in the local language, and you’ll feel the refreshing winds as you explore this incredible landscape. Keep an eye out for rare plants and animals, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this sacred site.

At the end of the walk, you’ll reach a grove of spearwood trees, which add to the serene experience. If you’re lucky, you might even find a small stream running through the gorge, making it an even more magical spot to visit!
