Full Farm Tractor Tour at Tropical Fruit World: A Tweed Valley Adventure

An Immersive Agri-Tourism Journey Through an Exotic Paradise

Located just past the Queensland border in the lush Tweed Valley, the Full Farm Tractor Tour at Tropical Fruit World is the ultimate family-friendly adventure. This signature, fully guided experience takes you deep into a massive 240-acre working plantation that stands as one of the world's largest tropical fruit farms, boasting over 550 rare and exotic fruit varieties from all corners of the globe.

From cracking fresh native nuts to cruising through a hidden bushland valley, this tour is an interactive, multi-sensory journey that connects food lovers, nature enthusiasts, and families with the absolute best of sustainable Australian farming.

Come aboard the Plantation Safari for a guided tour of the farm, explore Treasure Island, and adventure on to the Jungle River Cruise and Fauna Park. Don't forget to stock up on exotic fruit, home-style gourmet jams and sauces, and avocado oil skin care products before you leave.

Highlights of the Full Farm Tractor Tour

  • The Edible Garden & Seasonal Fruit Tasting: Kickstart your journey with a sensory stroll down the edible garden path before diving into the famous fruit-tasting experience. An expert guide will introduce you to weird, wonderful, and delicious exotic fruits, allowing you to sample whatever unique treats are currently in harvest.
  • The Tractor Train Plantation Safari: Climb aboard the plantation's iconic tractor train and cruise through the sprawling orchard valleys. Along the way, you will get the unique chance to snap a fresh banana straight from the bunch and test your skills cracking open buttery, native macadamia nuts fresh from the trees.
  • Fauna Park & Wildlife River Cruise: The tractor journeys deep into the estate to the dedicated Fauna Park, where you can meet, greet, and hand-feed friendly farm animals and native Australian wildlife. From there, step aboard a peaceful, eco-friendly river boat cruise winding through a pristine bushland valley canal.
  • Free Time on 'The Island': Relax and play at the tour's dedicated island oasis. Kids can run wild on the flying fox, mini putt-putt course, sandpit, and play equipment. Meanwhile, adults can stroll through the tranquil gardens, embark on a self-guided native bush foods walk, or unwind with a drink in the scenic boathouse overlooking the water.
  • The Big Avocado & Farm Market: Concur your journey back at the legendary "Big Avocado" landmark. Make sure to allow extra time after your tour to browse the vibrant farm retail market for farm-made beauty products, gourmet condiments, and fresh-picked produce, or sit down for an authentic farm-to-table meal at the onsite café.
