Did you know you can stand right on the Tropic of Capricorn? Head to the Tropic of Capricorn Marker, located on the Stuart Highway near Alice Springs. This cool spot is marked by a giant, slanted globe on a tall pole, showing the line where the Earth’s southern hemisphere meets the tropics!
It’s a great place for a family photo, and you can even camp for the night if you want to enjoy the outback under the stars. Make sure to take a picture next to the marker to show your friends that you’ve been to such a special spot!
