Imagine a place where waterfalls roar through the forest and giant trees stand tall like guardians of the past. That’s Triplet Falls in Victoria, and it’s waiting for you to explore! Hidden in the Great Otway National Park, this spot has three amazing waterfalls flowing through a lush rainforest filled with mossy ferns and towering Mountain Ash trees that are over 200 years old. It feels like stepping into a magical fairy tale.
As you walk the trail, you’ll come across the remains of Knott’s #1 Mill, an old timber mill from over 100 years ago. There’s even a steam boiler covered in ferns, which is like a time machine back to when the forest was used for timber. The trail is a fun loop that takes about an hour to complete and is perfect for anyone who loves exploring nature and spotting cool wildlife.
Adult Supervision Recommended: The trail has steep steps and uneven paths, so make sure adults are there to help younger kids navigate safely.
