Tommys Rock Lookout and Walking Track

Highlights

Get ready for an adventure at Tommys Rock Lookout! This spot offers breathtaking views of The Great Dividing Range and is a fun place to explore. There’s a short walk to the lookout, or if you’re feeling daring, you can tackle the steep trail to the summit. It’s a challenge, but the 360-degree views at the top are totally worth it!

Legend has it that Tommy McPherson, a clever Aboriginal bushman, once lived here, and you might even spot signs of his hidden gold mine! Keep an eye out for rock wallabies hopping around and glossy black cockatoos feasting on nearby trees. This is an exciting place for kids who love hiking and discovering cool stories.

Adult Supervision Recommended

The steep summit trail is challenging and requires adult supervision for safety.
