Tomaree Head Summit Walk
Highlights
Climb to the top of Tomaree Head for incredible views of Port Stephens! This short but steep hike takes you 161 metres above the coastline, where you’ll see islands, beaches, and even historic World War II gun emplacements. From the summit, use your binoculars to spot dolphins in the ocean below or enjoy the amazing views of the islands around you.
There’s a picnic area at the lookout, so pack a snack to enjoy while taking in the scenery. On your way back down, check out the Fort Tomaree walk for more history and fun. This is a must-do for kids who love adventure and exploring the outdoors!
