The Big Trout
Highlights
Have you ever seen a fish as big as a house? The Big Trout in Adaminaby is a massive 10-metre-tall sculpture that celebrates the town’s love of trout fishing. Built in 1973 by artist Andy Lomnici, this fibreglass giant is one of Australia’s famous "Big Things." It’s also been freshly restored to look as awesome as ever!
Snap a selfie with this iconic trout, explore the nearby picnic area, and learn about why Adaminaby is such a great spot for fishing and mountain adventures. This is a fun and quirky stop for your Aussie road trip!
