Tasmanian Arboretum

Highlights

The Tasmanian Arboretum is a stunning 66-hectare tree park where you can walk through forests of plants from around the world! It’s one of the best places to spot wildlife in Tasmania – especially platypuses, which are often seen swimming in the lakes. The park is a great place to explore if you’re a nature lover, with walks through the bushland and along streams.

While you’re there, you can also learn about Tasmania’s geology with the Limestone Heritage Walk, a self-guided track that tells the story of the land and the people who shaped it. With its peaceful atmosphere and the chance to see native wildlife, the Arboretum is perfect for a day out in nature!
