Discover & Get to Know

Tangalooma Wrecks

Highlights

Dive into an underwater adventure at the Tangalooma Wrecks! These sunken ships create an incredible snorkelling and kayaking spot where kids can see colourful fish, coral reefs, and maybe even turtles. The clear waters make it easy to explore and discover all kinds of sea life.

For those who love the beach, it’s a great place to swim and enjoy the beautiful sandy shores of Moreton Island. It’s like a giant natural playground in the ocean!

Did you know? The Tangalooma Wrecks were intentionally sunk to create a safe harbour and have now become a thriving home for marine life.

Adult Supervision Recommended

Snorkelling and kayaking require safety equipment, and adult supervision is needed for younger kids.
