Stockton Lake
Highlights
Stockton Lake is a beautiful and unique spot near Collie, Western Australia. This old open-cut mine has filled with water over the years, creating a stunning blue lake that changes colour with the seasons. It’s a great place for camping, picnics, and water sports like kayaking or paddleboarding.
While swimming is allowed, the water has high acidity levels, so it’s not recommended for people with sensitive skin. Make sure to stay safe by avoiding diving or jumping into the lake, as there are hidden rocks beneath the surface. Camping here is a lot of fun, with designated fire pits and lots of space to enjoy the outdoors!
Adult Supervision Recommended
Swimming and water activities at Stockton Lake require caution due to high acidity levels and submerged rocks. Adult supervision is recommended for safety.
