Skywalk Lookout
Highlights
Walk high above the rainforest at Skywalk Lookout! This 70-metre boardwalk, perched 21 metres above the forest, gives you incredible views of Bellinger Valley and beyond. Look for regent bowerbirds and grey goshawks soaring through the trees—it’s a bird-watcher’s paradise!
Did you know the double peak of McGraths Hump, visible from the lookout, is also known as Old Man Dreaming? According to Gumbaynggirr legend, it’s the profile of a warrior named Ngali, who was turned to stone. With its stunning views and fascinating history, Skywalk Lookout is a must-visit for teens who love nature and legends.
