Purnululu (Bungle Bungle) National Park
Highlights
Purnululu National Park is home to the incredible Bungle Bungle Range, one of the coolest natural wonders in Australia. These beehive-shaped rock formations are over 350 million years old and have unique orange and black stripes. You can explore them by hiking through narrow canyons like Echidna Chasm or visiting the giant Cathedral Gorge, where the acoustics make every sound echo beautifully.
For an unforgettable experience, take a scenic flight or helicopter ride to see the range from above. The park is also rich in Indigenous culture, with over 20,000 years of history waiting to be discovered. Whether you're walking, flying, or camping under the stars, Purnululu is a place like no other.
