Pholis Gap Walking Trail
Highlights
The Pholis Gap Walking Trail is perfect for kids who love exploring the rainforest. This trail takes you through a mix of lush subtropical rainforest and drier grasslands, with views of Mount Warning (Wollumbin) and its valleys. It’s an awesome way to connect with nature and learn about the area’s history.
The trail starts at Mt Nardi and winds through beautiful rainforest before reaching the escarpment edge. Here, you’ll see amazing views and unique plants like grass trees and New England Blackbutt. Did you know the track is named after Athol Pholi, who worked in the area many years ago? It's a fascinating mix of adventure and history!
This trail is great for a family hike, and there’s even a picnic area where you can relax after your walk.
