Philosopher Falls
Highlights
Discover the magic of Philosopher Falls, named after the man who discovered tin and changed Tasmania’s history forever! This easy 45-minute walk takes you into the lush Tarkine rainforest. Along the way, spot fascinating fungi that look like they belong in a fairytale. The trail follows an old mining water race and ends at a lookout with breathtaking views of the cascading falls.
If you're feeling adventurous, take the staircase to the base of the falls for an even closer view. It's a must-visit for anyone who loves nature and adventure!
Adult Supervision RecommendedThe path can be steep and slippery, especially near the falls, so it’s important to have an adult nearby for safety.
