Passage Peak Walking Trail

Highlights

Passage Peak is a must-visit trail on Hamilton Island, offering spectacular views of the Whitsundays. This challenging 2.7-kilometre hike takes you through lush forests and up steep inclines to the island’s highest point. The final climb is tough, but the panoramic views at the summit are absolutely worth it!

From the top, you can see turquoise waters, white sand beaches, and the surrounding islands. It’s a great way to experience the beauty of the Whitsundays and get some exercise. Don’t forget to bring water and your camera to capture the incredible scenery!

Adult Supervision Recommended

The steep sections of this trail can be challenging, so it’s best to hike with an adult and take breaks as needed.
