Observatory Point and Lookout
Highlights
Observatory Point and Lookout offer an amazing view of Cape Le Grand National Park’s rugged coastline. You can spot whales swimming in the ocean between June and October, which is always an incredible sight! There’s also a memorial here, marking the spot where explorers took shelter during a storm in 1792, making it a place filled with history.
Stroll along the nearby trails during wildflower season for a colourful display of nature’s beauty or relax at the bird sanctuary, home to many native birds. And if you’re lucky, you might see kangaroos lounging on the pristine beaches. It’s a perfect spot for photography and enjoying the natural wonders of Western Australia.
