Murrawijinie Caves
Highlights
Adventure awaits at the Murrawijinie Caves! These limestone caves, located north of the Nullarbor Roadhouse, are full of surprises. The caves are home to birds like swallows and hawks, and one even has ancient Aboriginal ochre hand stencils just inside the entrance. Don’t forget to bring a torch to spot them!
The caves stay nice and cool, making them a great escape from the summer heat. But remember to stay safe—watch your step and avoid snakes! The road to the caves is a bit rough, so it’s best to ask for directions and advice at the Nullarbor Roadhouse before heading out.
If you love exploring and learning about history, these caves are a must-see!
