Mt William National Park is a paradise for nature and animal lovers! Walk along quiet beaches, and you might see kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, or even Tasmanian devils. In summer, look out for echidnas searching for ants and admire the colorful wildflowers blooming in the heaths.

The park is also a bird-watcher’s dream, with over 100 bird species, including honeyeaters and kookaburras. Whether you're camping or just visiting for the day, you’ll leave with amazing memories of Tasmania’s wildlife and landscapes.

  • Weather conditions in Tasmania can change quickly and frequently, especially in alpine areas. Snow, rain, wind and sun are all possible at any time of the year, and bushfires can occur between October and March.
