Mount Stillwell walk

Highlights

Explore the beauty of Mount Stillwell on this moderate 2km return trail. Wander through ancient snow gum forests and along mountain ridges, and enjoy stunning views of Mount Kosciuszko, Mount Twynam, and the Main Range.

In spring, the trail comes alive with wildflowers, including billy buttons and paper daisies. Along the way, you might spot native birds like Richard’s pipits or reptiles such as white-lipped snakes. For a more challenging adventure, take the unmarked route to the second lookout at Mount Stillwell's summit.

Due to wildlife and unmarked trails for the extended route, adult supervision is advised for safety.
