Mount Hobwee Circuit is a thrilling adventure for kids and teens who love hiking and exploring nature. Located in the Binna Burra section of Lamington National Park, this 18.2km trail takes you through ancient rainforests and up to the summit of Mount Hobwee, standing at 1163m tall!
Along the way, you’ll walk through forests that are part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia, a UNESCO World Heritage Area. Near the summit, you’ll find fascinating Antarctic beech trees and the unique 'beech orange' fungus, which links the area to the ancient supercontinent of Gondwana. It's like stepping into a prehistoric world!
The trail offers breathtaking views of the Gold Coast and surrounding landscapes, making it a perfect spot for photography and nature appreciation. It’s a hike you’ll never forget!
