Highlights

Mount Exmouth Walking Track in Warrumbungle National Park is a challenge worth taking for hiking enthusiasts! This 17km trail leads to the summit of Mount Exmouth, standing at 1206m, where 360-degree views await you. Along the way, you’ll pass stunning volcanic rock formations and diverse vegetation, from scenic woodlands to sparse summit flora.

The trail is also a wildlife haven, with kangaroos, wallabies, and even rare koalas often spotted along the way. Birdwatchers can enjoy sightings of turquoise parrots and other native species. Don’t forget to pack a picnic and enjoy the natural beauty of the area!
