Mount Claude is a hidden gem for hikers who love a challenge! Choose between a two-hour trek from Olivers Road or a four-to-six-hour hike from O’Neill’s Road. Both trails take you through stunning bushland to panoramic views at the summit. From the top, you can see incredible 360-degree vistas, just like the ones at Mount Roland and Mount Van Dyke.

Don’t forget your camera—the views are worth every step. Whether you're hiking solo or with friends, Mount Claude offers an adventure you won’t forget!

  • Weather conditions in Tasmania can change quickly and frequently, especially in alpine areas. Snow, rain, wind and sun are all possible at any time of the year, and bushfires can occur between October and March.
