Macquarie Pass – Clover Hill Trail

Highlights

Get ready for an adventure on the Clover Hill Trail in Macquarie Pass, New South Wales. This 6km return walk takes you through an exciting mix of rainforest and sunny paddocks, ending with a chance to spot the stunning Rainbow Falls. Along the way, you’ll see massive trees like Illawarra flame trees, cabbage palms, and tree ferns. Keep an eye out for lyrebirds, goannas, and even kangaroos hopping through the open fields!

As you walk along this old logging route, the forest suddenly opens up to sunny plains with towering cliffs glowing orange and yellow in the sunlight. It’s like stepping into another world. For the bravest adventurers, a scramble upstream at the end of the track leads to Rainbow Falls – a hidden treasure waiting to be discovered.

Adult Supervision Recommended: The trail includes steep sections and slippery areas near waterfalls. Stay close to your adults to enjoy a safe and exciting journey.
