The Little Mountain Walking Track in Gundabooka National Park is a tranquil 4.8km return trail that winds through mulga woodland to Little Mountain Lookout. Along the way, you might encounter kangaroos, emus, and a variety of bird species, including finches and robins. Spring and autumn are the best times to visit, offering colourful wildflower displays and cooler weather for walking.
The lookout provides stunning views of the northern escarpment of the Gunderbooka Range, particularly beautiful at sunset. Informative signage along the trail adds an educational aspect to this peaceful nature walk, making it a great outing for families.
