Leven Canyon is a jaw-dropping adventure spot where you can see a roaring river twisting 275 metres below you! This incredible canyon is easy to reach and perfect for exploring Tasmania’s wild side. As you walk along the trails, you’ll discover breathtaking lookouts, forest stairs, and hidden gems like the Fern Walk. There’s even a Canyon Floor Walk that takes you deep into this natural wonder.
The reserve is home to some amazing Tasmanian plants and animals, so keep your eyes peeled for wildlife. With picnic areas, barbecues, and plenty of shady spots to relax, it’s a fantastic place to spend the day. Don’t forget to visit the Cruickshanks Lookout for unbeatable views of the canyon.

- Weather conditions in Tasmania can change quickly and frequently, especially in alpine areas. Snow, rain, wind and sun are all possible at any time of the year, and bushfires can occur between October and March.
