Are you ready for an adventure to a hidden waterfall? Larapinta Falls is a secret gem deep within Lamington National Park. The 9.2km return hike takes you through lush rainforest, across creeks, and over rocky paths to a soaring moss-covered cliff face with a stunning waterfall. At the base, there’s a beautiful rockpool perfect for a refreshing swim after your journey!
The trail begins at Christmas Creek Track and follows markers and flags toward the Stinson Wreck site before turning to Larapinta Falls. Along the way, you’ll be rock-hopping, wading through creeks, and exploring raw bushland. It’s a fun and exciting way to discover nature!
This hike is best for those who love exploring, with its unmarked sections and the need for some rock scrambling. The destination is worth the effort, offering a peaceful, scenic spot where you’ll feel like you’ve discovered your own private paradise.
Adult Supervision Recommended: The trail involves rock scrambling and creek crossings. Stay close to your adults for safety during this challenging hike.

- Ensure to let a responsible adult know of your plans and report back into them once you have finished exploring for the day.
