Discover & Get to Know

Lake Gairdner

Highlights

Step into another world at Lake Gairdner, Australia’s fourth-largest salt lake! The shimmering white salt stretches as far as the eye can see, making it look like you’re walking on a giant mirror. It’s a favourite spot for photographers and even movie makers because of its unreal landscape.

Every March, the lake turns into a racing track for the Dry Lake Racers event. If you visit, don’t forget to take lots of photos—it’s a place you’ll never forget!

Adult Supervision Recommended

The salt flats can be slippery and disorienting, especially in extreme conditions. Adult supervision is recommended to ensure safety.
