Karlu Karlu (Devils Marbles) Conservation Reserve
Highlights
Karlu Karlu, also known as the Devils Marbles, is like a giant natural playground! These massive granite boulders are scattered across the valley and look like they’ve been dropped by giants. Some are perfectly balanced, making them look like they could topple at any moment – but don’t worry, they’re here to stay!
The area is sacred to the Warumungu people and has been formed over millions of years by erosion. Explore the short walking trails, take awesome photos, and stay overnight at the campground to catch the boulders glowing red and orange during sunrise and sunset. It’s a magical place full of history and adventure!
