Illawarra Lookout Walking Track

Highlights

If you love amazing views, the Illawarra Lookout Walking Track is for you! This short and easy 2-kilometre trail takes you through woodland and heath to a spectacular lookout perched on the edge of the escarpment. From here, you’ll see rolling green hills, the coastline, and the sparkling ocean – it’s like looking at a giant postcard!

On your walk, keep an eye out for waddling echidnas and listen for the chirping of rare birds like the ground parrot. It’s a fun and peaceful way to explore nature, and there’s a picnic area waiting for you at the end to enjoy a tasty lunch.
