Howard Springs Nature Park
Highlights
Howard Springs Nature Park is a fantastic spot for a day out! There’s a wading pool just for kids where you can splash around and cool off after playing in the adventure playground. Bring a picnic to enjoy on the grassy lawns where you might spot wallabies hopping by!
The park has trails for exploring, and you can even learn about the plants and animals along the way. Did you know that during World War II, this park was a rest camp for soldiers? The weir they built back then is still here and helps keep the waterhole full – you can even see barramundi swimming around!
