Hill Inlet is a magical spot at the northern end of Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island. As the tides change, the white sand mixes with turquoise water to create breathtaking patterns. This stunning sight is best viewed from the lookout at Tongue Point after a short, fun hike.
You can explore Hill Inlet on a day trip by ferry, yacht, or even from the sky in a helicopter. It’s a great place for kids and teens to marvel at nature’s beauty, swim, or snorkel in the crystal-clear waters. Don’t forget your camera for some amazing photos!

Our fav place!
We loved Hill Inlet and could keep coming back again and again. I’ve been 3 times, last time on the Whitsunday Bullet with Explore Whitsundays. Was such a nice day tour and can happily recommend it 👍🏼
