Hawk's Head Lookout in Kalbarri National Park is an awesome spot for kids and teens who love nature and adventure! Named after a rock formation that looks like a hawk’s head, it offers jaw-dropping views of the Murchison River and the surrounding gorge. See who can spot the hawk’s head first—it’s like a natural treasure hunt!
Kalbarri National Park is famous for its wildflowers, especially from June to October, when the landscape bursts into colour. The Kalbarri spider orchid is just one of the rare flowers you might see here. There are also great spots for hiking, picnicking, and enjoying the views of the river as it winds through the park. It’s a six-hour drive from Perth, but worth every second for the adventure that awaits!
