Granite Island is packed with adventure! Cross the wooden causeway by foot or hop on the historic horse tram to reach this magical island. Once there, you can explore the Kaiki Walk, where you’ll learn about the island’s history and spot huge orange-tinged granite boulders.
Keep an eye out for adorable little penguins and, if you’re visiting between June and October, you might even spot southern right whales swimming offshore. Don’t forget your camera—this place is perfect for photos!
