Goldfields Wildflower Trail

Highlights

Embark on the Goldfields Wildflower Trail and discover some of the most vibrant wildflower displays on Earth. Stretching from Merredin to Kalgoorlie and Menzies, this trail takes you through the incredible Great Western Woodlands, the largest temperate forest in the world. Between September and November, the landscape bursts into colour with blooming wildflowers.

Don’t miss Lake Ballard, where you’ll find striking sculptures by Antony Gormley, and the chance to see one of the world’s largest open-cut gold mines. Remember to follow trail guidelines, avoid picking flowers, and respect private property to preserve this natural wonder.
