Glasshouse Rocks and Pillow Lava
Highlights
Glasshouse Rocks and Pillow Lava are two awesome geological wonders you can find at Narooma’s Surf Beach! At the southern end of the beach, you'll find Glasshouse Rocks, which are huge and ancient rocks—some of the oldest in Australia! These rocks are over 500 million years old and are a photographer’s dream. They look super cool against the ocean backdrop!
On the northern end of the beach, check out the amazing Australia Rock, formed from volcanic activity millions of years ago. Both of these natural wonders are perfect for snapping photos and learning about how the Earth has changed over time. If you love geology or just think rocks are cool, you’ll want to check these out!
