Discover & Get to Know
Gantheaume Point
Highlights
Gantheaume Point is a must-visit for anyone interested in dinosaurs! You can walk in the footsteps of ancient creatures as you see real dinosaur footprints preserved in the rocks. These footprints have been here for over 125 million years! You can see them best at low tide, but if you miss it, don't worry – there are plaster casts of the footprints on the cliffs you can check out at any time.
While you're at Gantheaume Point, don’t miss Anastasia’s Pool – a historical rock pool that was created for a lighthouse keeper’s wife to help with her arthritis. And if you really want an adventure, hop on a hovercraft for a cool tour of the mudflats and see the footprints up close!
