Fort Bourke Hill Lookout and Open Cut Mine

Highlights

Fort Bourke Hill Lookout is an awesome spot to learn about mining and see the big open pit mine that’s been a part of Cobar for years! From the lookout, you can see all of Cobar and the massive mining landscape, plus learn how the area’s mineral belt stretches all the way from North to South.

This place is perfect for anyone who’s curious about how mining works, and you’ll also get amazing views of the area. Don’t forget to take your camera to snap a few pics of the vast landscape, especially at sunset!
