Imagine a magical swimming spot surrounded by crystal-clear water and amazing coastal views. That’s what you’ll find at the Fairy Pools in Noosa National Park, Queensland. These natural rock pools are located just off the Noosa Coastal Walk, offering an unforgettable adventure.
The 1-hour return walk takes you along the coastline, where you’ll see beautiful beaches, rocky cliffs, and maybe even some dolphins or turtles in the water! The Fairy Pools are hidden between rocks, creating a special spot to cool off and enjoy the scenery.
But remember, the rocks can be slippery, so always be careful and follow your adults’ instructions. The Fairy Pools are the perfect place to imagine yourself in a magical underwater world!
Adult Supervision Recommended: The trail includes steep cliffs and slippery surfaces. Stay close to your adults to explore safely.

What You Need To know
Guidelines
- Always do some research before heading out for your journey. Visit the parks website for up to date information on the current conditions. Ensure to check for any updates relating to any warnings that may be issued for the area, and check for the opening and closing times.
- Only swim where permitted. Don’t jump from cliff edges into water bodies.
- Wear suitable footwear and ensure to bring a hat and sunscreen to protect yourself from the elements.
- Always stay on the marked tracks where possible. Never climb fences, they are there for your own safety.
- Please consider the environment, take your rubbish with you or place in the bins provided. We want to ensure these beautiful places are still here for our future generations to enjoy.
- Ensure to let a responsible adult know of your plans and report back into them once you have finished exploring for the day.
- Leave nothing but footprints. Take nothing but memories.
